EAI Bare Knuckle track bicycle (2007) Paul wanted a "steeley" track bike. This has Novatec-Mavic wheels, Miche Primato cranks, Nitto bars, Brooks Swift saddle and leather bar tape.

XB3 Rekord track bicycle (1980s; Kharkov, Ukraine, USSR) Translation: KhVZ, Record. Only the frame is made in USSR. The chrome fork, wheels, bars, cranks, seat and post are from parts here and there.

Fuji fixed-gear bicycle (2007) Eddie installed a CETMA front carrier, and changed the decals to read FU II.

Ride-Rite Advanta semi-recumbent bicycle (1990s; USA) Aaron got a new one of these, made by Clive Buckler a decade ago.


Schwinn Paramount track bicycle (February 1971; Chicago; #B7107) It took almost eight years to find the best parts for this baby Paramount. The frame is all chrome and Nervex lugs, with natual patina in original condition. It has Campagnolo headset, bottom bracket and cranks, seatpost, with 24-inch tubulars, Fiamme 28-hole rims, Campy low flange front hub and Suntour Superbe Pro high-flange rear, with Campy cog. Cinelli 36cm bars with Toshi leather tape.

Miyata Seventen touring bicycle (c.1990; Japan) Taliah's around town classic, with Suntour Superbe Pro cranks and brakes, Gimpieme sealed-cartridge hubs and Mavic rims, Schwalbe Marathon and Avocet Cross tires, Cinelli bars and stem, Shimano pedals and Wald baskets.

Bianchi Alante three-speed roadster bicycle (1980s) Another custom assembly for Karl, "the Duke," with found objects. Let's flip the bars upside-down and put on a three-speed hub.


Diamond single-speed roadster bicycle (2007; India) Another one for the bicycle boys of Sutton Place.
