Kissena Roller Racing Series
Wednesday, January 22, 2003

We saw a good turnout of spectators but only six racers on race night. Don Winston, USCF official, checked gears with a 25.3 inch rollout limit. Half the field were racing rollers their first time. Mark Izhak (right) finished third in his debut after breaking a spoke! Hoping to see Kissena speedster Jared Bunde and roller champ Jon Orcutt on board, they came as spectators from a refreshing Kirk Whiteman sprint coaching seesion.

J. P. Partland took second place. Not so many months ago he did the Irish Milk Ras.

Dave Sommerville (51 x 14) finishing a one-kilometer win. Notice the distance his green arrow is ahead of red arrow in second place, J. P. Partland.
