Shopping at Bike Works
Bike Works NYC has a few experts in charge: Arone, Dave, Rob, and Tim. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex cards and cash. We offer gift certificates, and discounts to members of local cycling groups. Some exchanges are allowed. We don't do rentals, trade-ins, or sell used bikes.

In Manhattan's Lower East Side, just off Houston St. and the Williamsburg Bridge at Delancey St. Near corner of Rivington St., between Stanton St., across from PS 140.
Here's Ridge St.
Directions to Bike Works
From Manhattan Go downtown to Houston Street, east on Houston past Clinton and Attorney Streets to Ridge Street. Turn right on Ridge, go south two blocks to Rivington Street, Bike Works is on left at No. 106.

From Williamsburg Bridge Bikepath, Manhattan side Turn right at Clinton Street, pass Rivington Street, then turn right at Stanton Street, pass Attorney Street, then turn right at Ridge Street. Bike Works is on left at No. 106.

From MTA Subway Closest station at corner Delancey Street and Essex Street. F train at Delancey Street or J train at Essex Street. Walk from north-east corner Delancey and Essex, north on Essex one block to Rivington Street. Turn right go east five blocks (Norfolk, Suffolk, Clinton, Attorney and Ridge) and turn left at Ridge. Bike Works is across street from P.S. 140.

From FDR Highway Exit at Houston Street, go west three blocks with traffic lights to Ridge Street. Turn left go south past Stanton Street, to Bike Works on left before Rivington Street.

Bicycles & Frames For Sale

Bike Works specializes in road, track, fixed-gear, single-speed, and touring bicycles. We offer only new bicycles and frames, including Pake, Soma, Surly, Waterford and Gunnar.

Wheels, Parts & Accessories

We have the finest wheel builders around. Dave started building in 1973 with Jobst Brandt and the Wheelsmith brothers. Arone is an expert keeper of the flame. We offer a select variety of wheel goods and components, for road, track, fixed-gear, single-speed, touring, folding and city bikes. Custom wheel building is a specialty here, with our Phil Wood spoke machine.

Professional Repairs
Bike Works offers expert repairs on most makes at reasonable rates. Flats fixed $12-$15. Tune-ups $30-$45 plus parts. Overhauls $75-$150 plus parts. Steel frame and fork alignment repairs $25 and up.
Custom Bike Painting
We offer bike frame and component painting, thru the services of Color Factory and Waterford. Custom frame painting $220 and up.

Fitmaster Bike Fitting Service
Find your ideal cycling position with our new Fitmaster professional bicyclist sizing instrument made by Waterford Precision. Now it has a Cyclo-Ops Powermeter.

Team Bike Works

We need to ride and race. Bike Works is a proud supporter of: Kissena Cycling Club and New York Bike Messenger Association and Times-Up and Transportation Alternatives.


Kissena Park Velodrome
The "Track of Dreams" in Queens is our local sanctuary of cycling. Erin Dyer of Bike Works won Female Rider of the Year at 2006 and 2005 Twilight Series.
